According to a survey in 2010 of the American fitness branch-magazine SNEWS (publication in August 2010, "Nennen Sie die Marke Ihrer drei bestverkauften Ellipticals"(translated: State the brand of your three best-sold ellipticals) ("Ellipticals" stands for general term for elliptical trainers and crosstrainers in the United States), Octane Fitness has been chosen the best-sold elliptical brand by the American fitness specialists for the ffifth time in series - with 21.8% of votes the first place, with a broad advance to Precor (2nd place with 16.3%) and LifeFitness (3rd place with 13.3%). Vision-Fitness, Bremshey, Kettler, Cybex, and Matrix participated as well.

The Octance crosstrainer Q37c has a very deep and easy entry. The foot plates almost at ground-level can be reached from behind without problems. This allows even older people and persons with impaired mobility an easy access to the unit. The pedals provide an excellent comfort and increase the traction force of the leg movement - for an even more efficient workout. Having a stride length of 52cm and a pedal distance of less than 4.6cm, an authentic running movement is simulated. This running movement is supported by innovative handle bars. The arm movement of traditional crosstrainers is parallel - this is different regarding the Octance Q37c. Here, the arms are moved forward in a diagonal direction. Soft and fluent movement as going, walking or jogging are simulated close to reality. The deep axis point of the arm levers supports this natural arm movement. The MultiGrip handgrips offer many possibilities to grip and minimize fatigues in shoulder or arm muscles.

Besides the innovative course of motion, the creation of training programs has been in the centre of interest when the Octance crosstrainer Q37c was developed. While exercising the intensive program ArmBlaster, resistance levels and the number of repetitions for different workout sessions are individually adjusted. The X-Mode+ training program is an automatic guide through different tasks - similar to circle training. Furthermore, the Octane crosstrainer Q37c offers very challenging workouts (GluteKicker-program) for exercising bottom muscles, hips and thighs.
